Recently appointed a Director, as part of the management buyout here at A&R Services, Dora has been part of the team for over eight years.
Another new, but not so new face has been appointed to our Board of Directors at A&R Services.
The wonderful Dora started out as one of our Commercial Cleaners at Blue Arrow and was put onto our management training programme after showing real promise leading her team.
Knowing the business inside out and helping to install best practices across the company has provided a solid foundation to support our upcoming growth strategy.
As well as a degree in accountancy and a collection of management training qualifications, her extensive knowledge of our business means that Dora is the perfect person to lead our operations.
What do you do for us?
As Operations Director ultimately, I ensure that the services provided to our clients and the culture for our staff are the best they can be. The role ranges from implementing an operational plan to resources management, assessing the efficiency of the organization, and decides if any changes are needed to improve productivity.

I’ve been at A&R for over eight years, after finishing my degree in accountancy at in university and moving to the UK eighteen years ago I found a cleaning position that fitted around my busy schedule and I’ve been here ever since!
After the companies recent growth we decided to add an additional layer of management between our Commercial Management and Directors.
What do you like about A&R Services?
People who join our team tend to stay for years. Or if they do pursue other roles, many keep their position because they love working for A&R!

What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love to cook, it’s one of my favourite pastimes. We regularly bake cakes for the office (we can confirm that Dora’s lemon cheesecake is to die for!).
Dora is the engine room at A&R Services, the conductor (you get the idea!). Without her tireless work, attention to detail, and care to our team and clients the company would not be in the position it is without her.
